Join Us on August 15th for a Quickie Slam!

Hosted by Focal Impulse at the luxurious Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge!

We absolutely LOVE this location!  The hotel is super-easy to get to; it’s actually connected to the Cambridge Side Galleria Mall, and you can park in the mall parking garage or take the MBTA Green Line to the Science Museum stop.  The hotel is decorated with sexy furniture, faux animal print pillows and carpets, and has such a gorgeous color palette!

We’ve reserved the Executive Suite for the day so we’ll transform the living room area into a makeup room where you can socialize and snack on some goodies and sip on mimosas provided by Focal Impulse, relaxing and feeling like a pampered model!  The bedroom will become your private photo studio where you will be helped with your posing techniques by female assistant, Bebe.

Focal Impulse Quickie Slam Session
$150 – Single

We schedule shoots one-after-another, so you can’t be late for your shoot and there are no refunds.  Payment is due in full at the time of your reservation.  If you cannot make it to your shoot, you are allowed to find a substitute to take your place as long as you notify Focal Impulse ahead of the shoot.  Your Quickie Slam Package includes:

Professional Hair and Makeup
Danielle of Danielle’s Makeover Creationz will be joining us once again for this Slam and she is offering a great deal- only $65 for a boudoir hair and makeup makeover, normally starting at $85!  We highly recommend this add-on; it’s half the girly fun!  Danielle will get you feeling gorgeous, just in time for your boudoir shoot- but then you can leave the hotel with your fresh makeover and enjoy the rest of your day all dolled up!  We ask that you pay Danielle directly at the time of the Slam (cash only).

Coaching & Instruction During Shoot
Bebe is present during each participant’s shoot time and she and D. Markus will continuously guide your poses and expressions to get the pictures you want.  Each client is given 1 hour of shoot time.

At Least 2 Outfits/ Looks
Bring about 3 outfits or looks you want to pose in (nude/ semi nude is okay with us, too).  We guarantee participants shoot time in at least 2 looks, but if there is extra time or if you can’t decide what to wear and want some advice, it’s always a good idea to bring more than what you need.

1 Editorial Retouch & a CD of Your Images
The Focal Impulse Quickie Slam Package comes with 1 Complimentary Beauty Retouch provided to you as Print-Ready Digital Files.  After the Slam, we will send you a CD of Web-Ready Digital Proofs of ALL the Developed Images from your shoot so you can select the image you would like Beauty Retouched as part of the Quickie Slam package, and any additional images you’d like to order retouches of as well.  We will email your final retouches or send another CD if requested.  Read the Retouches Page to learn more about the levels of Photoshop retouching available.

A $10 Retouch Credit
All Quickie Slam participants will also get a $10 credit towards an additional Beauty Retouch.  Focal Impulse is still in the process of setting up an online store, in the meantime, we can handle all orders for prints via phone or email.
