I can’t tell you how much I absolutely love working with Focal Impulse. I brought my mom in for a photo shoot and was a little nervous with her being in her early 60′s (shhh she’ll kill me if she knows I told!) and since I do hair and makeup for many of the shoots I figured she’d have a good time at least and get some nice pictures. OMG She looks absolutely amazing in her photos!!! I was blown away.
I know how good they are and how many beautiful photos they take since I am a part of many of them. BUT they topped themselves. She felt like a billion dollars for months after. She still tells people about her “modeling shoot”.
Please do yourself a favor and book yourself (or your wife, girlfriend) a boudoir shoot. You will have more confidence than you could imagine and then have the pictures to prove that you should have that confidence! (Don’t forget hair and makeup, that’s important too)

Every woman needs to do a Boudoir Photo shoot at least once in her lifetime! Angela and Doug were Amazing!! Highly recommend them both – very down to earth! Doug and [Bebe] are wonderful! They help you feel so comfortable and relaxed and give you great tips along the way to make sure you look your best. I booked a quickie slam session with Focal Impulse and since I’d never done anything like that before, I was nervous. Within a few minutes of meeting Bebe and Doug, they made me feel completely at ease. Bebe gave me tips on posing and she posed first so I could actually see and copy what to do, which was extremely helpful. I had brought in some pictures of poses I liked and they worked with them to make sure the photos they took reflected the style I had in mind. They showed me some shots on the digital camera as we were shooting which made it feel like we were working together, not just them telling me what to do. The photo shoot was so fun, I didn’t think the pictures would top the experience but I was wrong. I was thrilled with my proofs and ordered some photos to be retouched. Just when I didn’t think I could be any happier, Doug’s retouching skills blew me away. Instead of pictures that look softened, a bit blurry and “photoshopped”, he makes skin smooth without looking fake. I highly recommend them!

My experience with Focal Impulse was amazing. I participated in two Quickie Slam photo shoots, and used a collection of each to make a calendar of cute images for my boyfriend this past Valentine’s Day. SUCH a great gift idea – he absolutely loved it!
As far as the experience goes, I was completely comfortable and had so much fun playing supermodel. If you are thinking about doing a shoot, definitely consider these guys: the direction and the results you get back are super high quality.
Last minute tip: it’s absolutely worth doing more than one shoot. Not only will you be more comfortable and ready to make the most out of your second shoot, but you’ll have a variety of images and outfits should you one day decide to make a calender of your own!

They had given great instructions for preparing the day before which was really helpful if you have never done a boudoir photo shoot. The room was fabulous and Doug and Angela had set out snacks, water, and music. I was super nervous and shy buy they made me feel so comfortable.
