D. Markus Witt, (aka Douglas M. Witt) is the co-founder of Focal Impulse Studio.  His passion for photography and lighting, as well as his skills as a magazine-quality digital retoucher have created the unique, bold, and edgy images Focal Impulse is recognized for.

Doug also creates digital art and photo manipulations in PhotoShop, so if you have a crazy idea for an image (make yourself into a fairy, or turn yourself into a pinup illustration, etc.) – just ask!

Angela Davis
Co-Founder | Business Chick | Client Liaison | Modeling Coach & Stylist

Angela always had an obsession with the beauty and fashion industry from an early age.  Growing up, she spent hours in front of the mirror trying to imitate the models and starlets she saw in movie, on television, and in advertisements and magazines.  She dabbled in modeling in high school for fun, but let her passion for modeling take a back seat to her education and her career in marketing.

It wasn’t until Angela was attending CDIA BU to study Graphic Design in 2008 and met Photography student, D. Markus Witt, that her passion for modeling was reignited.  Angela began modeling for Doug and then they did a few photo shoots for friends. They were surprised  to be told over and over by the women that it was a transformational experience to see themselves looking as gorgeous as the professional models in magazines in their final photos.

It was then that Doug and Angela began to realize they had something very special to offer the women of the world.  They decided to join creative forces and founded Focal Impulse Studio in December of 2009.

Angela is there to assist the models at every shoot, coaching and styling as needed.  She will also be the person you coordinate and book your appointment with.  If you still have questions about how to prepare for your shoot, or what to expect during your shoot once you’ve been to our Private Backstage Area, just ask Angela!

Angela also handles all the marketing and other business tasks.
